Description

The Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) industry is evolving very rapidly. These advances in technology can be used to improve processes and accuracy within the transportation industry. This presentation will cover the latest advances in UAS technology and how we can utilize these tools to improve our processes as well as keep our employees safe. Discussion will explore Aerial Lidar and Mobile Mapping, applications and evolving technologies in the space and how it is being utilized. There will be additional discussion on Blue UAS, what it is and how it affects aerial products, the current D.O.D. approved listing, pipe crawler and Underwater ROV technologies and how they're being used.

Collin Kemmesat, Frontier Precision. Collin has been with Frontier Precision for over two years initially overseeing submersibles and crawlers. He now works the entire Unmanned portfolio - performing subsurface and aerials missions. Collin has worked extensively with customers across a wide spectrum from DOTs to Public Safety teams across the country. He now focuses on the subsurface portfolio for the central U.S and Aerial applications for North Dakota, Montana, and western South Dakota.

Nathan Stephenson, Frontier Precision. Nathan is an Applied Geospatial Engineer focusing on a wide range of geospatial technology solutions as it applies to mobile data capture and verification. His involvement as a technical expert for both ground based and aerial lidar bolsters Frontier Precision to be the #1 geospatial solutions distributor in the world. Responsibilities include providing customer success through technical support, mobile system calibration and training and class-room style teaching.
