Description

Accurate equipment calibration is a cornerstone best management practice for winter maintenance operations. While many agencies recognize and understand its value, implementing this practice can be challenging. This presentation will discuss the importance of equipment calibrations and monitoring to ensure accurate calibration will improve performance of winter operations, lower program costs, minimize environmental impacts from chlorides, and provide necessary data to support changes and growth for winter maintenance programs.

Clonch, LLC haws nearly 40 years of experience in public works with a diverse background in operations and management and snow and ice control at the county, city, and state levels. Since retiring from the public works system in 2012, Diana has been providing consulting services focusing on management, operations, snow and ice control training, and innovatioive technologies.
